i need advice on growin cannibis in my house?
i want to grow it in my closet just one plant, and will it smell, and how long does it take with led lights or uv lamps, but will a regular bulb provide enough, Help!!!
Go to your local garden center and ask how to care for tomatos, whatever they tell you can be applied to weed. The LEDs must be used as supplemental lighting, not primary lighting; make sure the LEDs are diffused with at least a 60 degree angle of lighting, any less and they'll burn small holes in your plant (learned this the hard way).
The UV lamps don't do much, stick with full spectrum fluorescent tubes: OttLite bulbs or HydroFarm lights work the best, 2 fts burn 20 watts, 4 fts burn 40 watts, high intensity 4 footers burn 54 to 60 watts. HPS will waste too much electricity as heat and run up the electric bill alerting the cops. Regular bulbs also waste too much heat.
Be sure to get a fan within the closet for air circulation. If you can, run another fan from the closet thru a filter made of scented dryer sheets before venting that outside. Yes, the plant will stink like skunk.
