indoor grow light setups
What kind of light setup do i need for indoor growing?
I recently bought a 250 Watt Hps Bulb for my plant. However, I needed to get a socket converter in order for it to screw into the fixture I bought at a hardware store. But it will not turn on. So my question is, what do I need in order for my HPS bulb to work ? Is it the outlet in my house that doesn't have enough wattage to power the light? What could possibly be the problem if the light wont turn on when i plug it in ? The fixture I bought said it could handle up to 660 Watts and 250 volts but it wont power the light for some reason. Are there any cheap light setups I can get online ? I am tired of putting money into this project and always running into problems. Any suggestions and information is much appreciated EXCEPT rude comments. Thank you.
Did you know that the sudden quantum increase in your electricity usage and even the extra heat your house gives off due to running the necessary grow lights for indoor cultivation is probable cause for the cops to search your house for growing an illegal substance (police helicopters have infrared detection cameras on them)?
Anyway, I would suspect the socket converter is the problem. Or it's not a correct type for that bulb. You should probably take the fixture back and get the correct one for that bulb (or the correct bulb for that fixture.
