grow light plant stand

Growing rosebushes?
What kind of light do rosebushes need to grow? I wanted to plant some on the east side of my house, so they would get morning sun and afternoon shade. Would they do well?
Also, do they need some kind of support to grow or can you plant them free-standing?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Roses appreciate full sun conditions. The east side of the house should be fine---ideal actually, since the morning sun will burn dew off quickly and help to prevent disease.
Whether your bushes need support depends on the type of rose. Climbers do need support, but shrub roses do not. Some shrub roses can grow 6 ft. tall, but still do not require support.
Be sure to keep your new plants watered well the first year, thereafter giving them a good soaking once per week or so. They like to dry out a bit between waterings, but don't appreciate extended drought.
Be sure to clip off spent blosoms to keep new roses coming.
