Using hydroponics to grow vegetables... Will the light get my friend in trouble?
My friend wanted to grow vegetables at home since he lives in the uk and it's too cold out and will probably get better results from that. Anyway, I looked into it and it appears you need pretty powerful lights, and obviously people that grow other herbal things use the same system. Now he doesn't want to grow loads of veg so he's only using one light, one 400W hps light or something. Would he get raided by police accidentally mistaking it for a grow op, or is he worrying too much over one light? Not that it matters because he could just show them his tomatoes
Growing stuff outside in the UK works fine, My parents have a very successful vegetable garden. But Just one light will probably go unnoticed.
