Flexible Ducting Duct
One of the ducts of my central AC system is blocked, what can I do?
This duct used to flow air fine. Now it doesn't. What blocked it and how do I unblock it? I have floor vents and can feel a very small trickle of cool air coming from this blocked duct so I don't think its disconnected. I tried to shut all of the other registers in the house to perhaps force any potential blockage out. I pulled the surface vent assembly out of the floor and reached my hand down to see if I could find a blockage. The duct is connected to the system with that foil lined, flexible, insulated ducting. I did notice that a small door on the side of the house, that keeps animals from getting underneath the house where the AC duct is located, was open for a time. Could some kind of animal gotten underneath the house and crimped the ducting?
