what are the types of plant light bulbs that grow plants?
i have a pet turtle and she has a "UV" light. Would that grow plants? and i was actually going to start germinating them from seeds so would it still work? thanks for any help.

yes your right in your thinking that your terrarium Grow Light will work for germinating and growing on to a certain extent, after all, i'm guessing that you've got plants growing in your terrarium, these bulb produce a broad spectrum of light, so not the very best light that money can buy for growing plants, but will grow your plants fairly well.
